Audierne Bay is bursting with coastal points and little creeks. Such a diverse coastline offers a perfect playground for trying out Stand-up Paddle-boarding. This is one of the latest board sports, where you stand up on a large surf board and use a paddle to glide along.

Getting out on the water allows you to discover the coast and the landscapes around the Pointe du Raz in a completely new way. There are various outings to try: from the Baie des Trépassés to the Pointe du Raz; from Plage du Loch towards Pors Loubous; along the Goyen River towards Pont-Croix. There are countless possibilities, and they all change depending on the tides. You can discover the marine birds and caves, and when the surface is smooth, the water is so clear that you even see right to the bottom of the sea.

Worth knowing:
This activity is immediately accessible, even for those as young as 8 years old, so it’s perfect for groups and families. With your guide, come and discover the riches of the marine world and its coastline.

Every Saturday in summer, you can also try our outing on the River Goyen leaving from the Surf Shop in Audierne and heading to the historic town of Pont-Croix – or towards the port entrance, depending on tides.

We leave from Pontoon G opposite the Surf Shop at 10.15am and return about 12pm. Just in time to reward yourself with fresh oysters from Audierne market! Please book in advance, at the Surf Shop in Audierne or the Surf School in the Baie des Trépassés.
